Homemade fish fry is the best fish fry. Ain’t nothing better than made from scratch, without MSG and other additives. It not only tastes better, but it’s healthier for you. I’ve created the perfect recipe and just had to share it with y’all. This fish fry never fails to please. Sometimes I switch up the ingredients depending on my mood. But this is pretty much my go to recipe, and the base is always finely ground corn meal. I prefer yellow, but you can use white if that’s your thing.

This time I was in the mood for a hint of smoky flavor. So I added smoked paprika to my fish fry mix, and it completely changed the game. I think it’s going to be a permanent addition to my homemade fish fry recipe. Smoked Paprika is probably my favorite seasoning to use. It gives any dish a flavor boost. Like this Salmon Macaroni Salad.

My whiting fish fried up brown and crispy, and was absolutely divine. I was licking my fingers when I was done, and can go for a few more pieces right now since it’s on my mind. Anyway, I’m going to keep this post short and sweet and get to the fish fry recipe.
