Hi, I’m Erica Moore, Editor, Photographer & Recipe Developer of Moore Mealz, which shares quick & easy recipes to make cooking more enjoyable and less of a chore.
I’ve been curious about cooking since I was a little girl, following my Grandma & Mom around the kitchen, asking lots of questions and being an (unofficial) taste tester. So I learned how to cook at a young age.
However, it was when I began my Pescatarian journey in 2015 that I started to get creative with my meals.
With the new dietary restrictions, my meals quickly became boring, and I found myself dining out more instead of cooking at home like I was used to. Until I realized that a lot of the dishes that I was eating at restaurants could be easily recreated at home.
My recipes are inspired by the Soul Food dishes that I ate growing up, my dining experiences, and experimentation. I’m not afraid to experiment in the kitchen, and that’s what makes cooking fun.
